We have a number of exhibition spaces in the Minster and we welcome enquiries from artists, art groups, schools and colleges.

The Minster is open daily (see opening times) and an estimated 60,000 people visit the Minster over the course of a year.

A site meeting with our Exhibitions Co-ordinator will be arranged before a booking is accepted.

What we offer

  • Up to two weeks for an amateur artist exhibition, display only – £75

    Up to two weeks for an amateur artist exhibition with sales – £150

    Up to two weeks for a professional artist exhibition with sales – £300

    The charge for an Exhibition Reception – £150

    Artists selling prints of their work should negotiate a percentage rate with the Minster Shop Manager:

  • Free entry to the exhibition for visitors.
  • Publicity through the Minster eNewsletter sent to 1,100+ subscribers

We are not able to provide:

  • Additional lighting.
  • Supervision of exhibitions.
  • Insurance to cover loss or damage.
  • Time of the Minster staff to assist with presenting the exhibition.
  • Donation facilities for artists or charities.
