THE ‘PRESS PAUSE’ PROGRAMME 2025

SESSION 2 | Saturday 28 June 09.30 – 13.00

LEADER: MONA-KARINA THEODOSIUS

THEMECHRISTIAN PASTORAL CARE – WHAT IS DISTINCTIVE?

Press Pause is a regular event at Beverley Minster for anyone wanting to take time out to experience God’s presence through teaching and time with others.  All are welcome whether you are newly exploring faith or have been on the faith journey for many years.

Mona-Karina Theodosius is the Diocesan Adviser in Pastoral Care for the York Diocese. A Systemic and Family Psychotherapist by profession, she is also a practising Anglican with an interest in the Arts and Christian Spirituality.

Mo will speak and encourage reflection on the theme of pastoral care and what this means for us as Christians and as Christian communities, with particular emphasis on the words of Jesus: “I came that they might have life, and have it abundantly” (John 10:10)

Hot and cold drinks will be provided on arrival and at the coffee break.

The event is free but there will be an opportunity to give towards the ministry of the Minster in arranging future Press Pause events.

No booking required but please express an interest in coming by email using the link
