Holy Communion in the Minster is at 10.30 on Sunday (please book) and 10.00 on Thursday. Choral Evensong is on Thursdays at 19.30 (in term time). For information about streamed services online and Thought for the Day, follow the link.

Learn more about Saint John of Beverley whose life was described by the Venerable Bede. Why did the small monastery he established develop into the thriving town we call Beverley?

The Minster Shop has re-opened (Mon-Sat 11.00-15.00). Our online shop is always open. We sell books about the Minster, CDs of the Minster choir and gifts. We ship worldwide.

In preparation for re-opening to visitors we are recruiting volunteers. If you have time to spare and want to be involved in Minster life, take a look at the opportunities on offer.

The Friends have contributed over £500,000 to recent projects. Find out more and support the Minster by becoming a Friend. It takes just a few minutes if you pay online.

We celebrate the 1,300th anniversary of the death of St John of Beverley this year. On his tomb it reads: “Here lies the body of St John…” But is his body really there?

If you are unable to attend a service at the Minster but would like the opportunity to make a donation, we offer a facility on our website with the use of a debit or credit card.
