Minster Youth Appeal
Investing in the future of OUR Youth!
Minster Youth relies on regular income to support its work with young people in Beverley. Parents and friends of our youth have supported us in the past and we now look to a new generation of supporters to secure our Youth Work at Beverley Minster for the future.
Why are we telling you this now?
Our Youth Minister and two part time youth workers have developed the exciting activities described here. We have met staff costs from our reserves, which are now running low.
So we need to raise a further £23,000 a year to maintain and develop our programme.
Value for money?
Here are some examples of what we get up to.
- Youth Café events every 4-8 weeks attracting 200-300 young people
- A midweek Youth Service in the Minster
- A weekly youth club ‘Night Café’
- Schools work, lunchtime clubs and lessons
- Mentoring individuals and small groups
- Trips and residentials
- Community work: ‘Love Beverley’
- RE Action schools event attracting more than 1000 school children over a number of days
- Minster’s Got Talent raising vital funds to support our work
- 24/7 Prayer during Holy Week
- Messy Church and Children’s parties
How can you help in a practical way?
If your child or someone else’s child whom you know comes to Minster Youth activities, or if you have an interest in seeing our young generation succeed in life then why not use EveryClick to donate on line.
Our leaflet explains other ways of giving.
Thank you for your support.
