Credo

Credo is a community of Christians from across Hull, England, who believe that truth can be communicated through the arts.

“We aim to take high quality, dynamic presentations into the community – to entertain, challenge and inspire, bringing a fresh perspective to contemporary issues and ancient truths”.

Since formation in 1996 they have performed in venues across the country, including The Guildhall, Hull, the London School of Economics, Sheffield Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, and street drama in Hull, Birmingham, Sheffield and York, as well as many local churches, pubs, community centres, and schools.

Label of Love

Label of Love was formed in 1994 in Scunthorpe and moved to Hull in 1998. It has “a passion to reach young people with the gospel in this (Hull) city, and throughout the region”.

In 2002 Beverley Minster hosted the very first ‘REaction’ day organized by a partnership between Beverley Minster, Label of Love and the East Riding LEA. The aim was to present an action-packed event within Beverley Minster, reflecting the RE curriculum as well as some traditions of the Christian faith. Following previous successes REaction has become an annual event. Children involved are in the last year at primary school or 1st year in secondary school.
